EUR & USD deposit offer

I. Campaign duration:

The offer is valid from 19.12.2023 to 31.03.2024

II. Campaign conditions:

It is addressed to natural persons who, at the time of initiation of the Campaign, may be existing or non-clients of GARANTI BANK SA

Individuals must:

  • own at least one current account in EUR or USD or to open a current account in EUR or USD, during the Campaign period at GARANTI BANK SA;
  • open term deposits, without automatic extension, with a maximum amount of EUR/USD 50,000 , originating from new funds* for a period of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, in any of the Bank's agencies, during the validity period of the Campaign. The minimum amount for the term deposit is 200 EUR/USD .

*The amounts from cash deposits, currency exchanges or interbank transfers in the current account opened at GARANTI BANK SA, after 19.12.2023, are considered new funds.

III. Interests granted during the Campaign:

During the Campaign, the interest rates granted to deposits established in the Bank’s agencies are:

IV. Acceptance of offer:

  • At any time during the running period, the Campaign may end before the deadline, based on the decision of GARANTI BANK SA or in case of force majeure. In the event of any of these cases, GARANTI BANK SA will inform the participants through an announcement posted in all the Bank's agencies and on the official website "www.garantibbva.ro", as soon as possible.
  • The offer is considered accepted at the time of signing the documents, which certify the intention to contract the term deposit under the terms and conditions of this offer.

V. Mentions:

  • For time deposits that meet the conditions of the Campaign, at the time of establishment, the interest rates granted within the Campaign are offered according to this offer; and, subsequently, at the time of the automatic extension of the deposit, the interest granted will be the one in force on the date of extension, displayed in the list of Bank Fees and Commissions, which can be found on the official website www.garantibbva.ro in the section Individuals > Savings > Interest rates.
  • The interest granted within the Campaign is applied to deposits made from new funds on the date of the Campaign initiation, representing the amounts made starting from 19.12.2023.
  • The benefits of the Campaign can be accessed only once by a natural person, within the maximum amount of 50,000 EUR/ USD .
  • USD 50,000 can be made from a single deposit.
  • If the deposit exceeds the maximum amount within the Campaign, it will be based on the bank's standard offer.
  • Existing funds in current accounts on the date of the offer are NOT considered new funds.
  • The interest rate is expressed as an annual percentage.
  • The total interest is subject to income tax, according to the regulations in force.
