Learning & Development Strategy Team, consisting of representatives from different units of Garanti BBVA, full-time internal trainers specialized in training and professional trainers who share their own experiences in business life, contribute significantly to the creation of learning & development solutions that comply with the Bank’s dynamics.

Established in 2014 and aiming to develop potential of Garanti BBVA talented people, Talent Management Program applies a selection and development system based on competencies. In Garanti BBVA we believe that our organization can beautifully grow by focusing on its most talented people. When we align the aspirations of our talent with company’s vision, results are amazing. We always have in mind this question: how do our future leaders reach their true potential? As a response, we designed Talent Management Program, an innovative, modular program that supports our people to accelerate their growth.

Our Development for Succession Program is a milestone to the next career step. A six-month intensive training with in class sessions, on the job experience and assessments, aiming at transferring the know how needed for our people to be prepared to assume new roles as they become available to forward move their career.

Grows the new generation of bankers

We are growing the next generation of bankers: Learn 2B a Banker Program – a 4 month training program designed to prepare universities graduates to be fully prepared to perform in the banking system. Our experts from specialized departments together with our network colleagues share their experience through in class and on the job training, testing and evaluation. Training sessions are designed by bringing theory and practice together by combining the theory with practice from the banking industry. Meanwhile, students can apply for internship in our HQ or network of agencies.
