Deposits Campaign Offer

I. Duration of the Campaign:

The offer is valid from 22.07.2024 to 15.09.2024, with the following features:

II. Campaign conditions:

It is addressed to natural persons who, at the time of initiation of the Campaign, may be existing or non-customers of GARANTI BANK SA

Individuals must:

  • hold at least one current account in one of the currencies RON, EUR or USD or open a current account in one of the currencies RON, EUR or USD, during the Campaign period at GARANTI BANK SA;
  • constitutes a single time deposit with a maximum amount of up to 1,000,000 RON or 250,000 EUR/USD, from new funds* for a period of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months, in any of the Bank's agencies, during the period of validity of the Campaign. The minimum amount for setting up a term deposit is 200 RON/EUR/USD.

*The amounts from cash deposits or interbank transfers in the current account opened at GARANTI BANK SA, starting from 22.07.2024, are considered new funds.

III. The following are excluded from the Campaign:

  • Deposits that are automatically extended, or reached maturity, reduced, increased or abolished on 22.07.2024;
  • Deposits made through Internet Banking / Mobile Banking applications;
  • Deposits made by employees of the Garanți Romania Group even if they meet the conditions of the Campaign;
  • The amounts in the current account on 22.07.2024.

IV. Interests granted during the Campaign:

During the Campaign period, the interest rates granted to deposits made in the Bank’s agencies are:

V. Acceptance of offer:

  • At any time during the running period, the Campaign may be terminated before the deadline, based on the decision of GARANTI BANK SA or in case of force majeure. In the event of the occurrence of any of these cases, GARANTI BANK SA will inform the participants through an announcement posted in all the Bank's agencies and on the official website "www.garantibbva.ro", as soon as possible.
  • The offer is considered accepted at the time of signing the documents, which certify the intention to contract the term deposit under the terms and conditions of this offer.

VI. Mențiuni:

  • In the case of deposits set up as part of the automatic extension Campaign, at the time of automatic extension, the interest granted will be the one in force on the extension date as published in the standard Rates and commissions for Individuals, which can be found on the official website www.garantibbva.ro in the section Persons Physics Savings Interests.
  • The benefits of the Campaign can be accessed only once by a natural person, within the maximum amount of 1,000,000 RON or 250,000 EUR/USD.
  • If the deposit exceeds the previously mentioned maximum amount, the bank's standard interest rate mentioned in the Standard rates and commissions for Individuals will be granted.
  • The interest rate is expressed as an annual percentage.
  • Total interest is subject to income tax, according to the regulations in force.
